Planning a wedding can be a confusing and exciting time, there are so many question you want to ask but sometimes forget. We have put together a list of things to ask your ceremony venue.

If your ceremony and reception are taking place in the same room you will need to ask about the turn around. Where will you and you guests be able to wait? Is there an area for welcome drinks and a celebration drink after?

How long do you have for your ceremony? Is there other ceremonies taking place that day?

If you are getting married in a registry office it is most likely that your ceremony will not be the only one. Most venues should be able to offer you around 2 hours. This allows guests to be welcomed and seated, for you and your partner to meed the registrar and some drinks and photos to be taken after.

Can you dress your ceremony venue with flowers candles and other items? In a registry office this is probably a no as the turn around needs to be very quick, but other venues will most likely allow this.

Are you allowed confetti? A lot of venues these days ask that confetti is biodegradable, which is easier to get hold of thank you think. You may also want to let your guests know incase any one is planning on bringing their own. You could also think about making your own with dried petals, or even use bubbles.

Lastly is there somewhere for nice photographs? If not, is there a local park near by that can offer a lovely back drop.
