First things first, before you can think about the details of planning your special day you need to consider 5 very important factors:

How will you get married? Are you looking for a religious or civil ceremony?

Where? You need to have a rough idea of the area you want to start looking.

When? If you can be flexible about the date then you will have more options, if you have already set a date then you need to be quick to follow these steps.

Who is attending? Who will you be inviting, is this a small family wedding or are you looking to invite extended family and friends?

What is your budget? All of the above factors will have a direct impact on your budget so bare this in mind and have a clear idea of what you can and want to spend. The budget is so important, always remember that weddings are about celebrating your love with the people you care about…..not Money!

It is easy to get carried away when planning your wedding so we have created a budget checklist to help you get started.
